  • Ah so it's bee pretty busy in my little world.  So we were down in GA and FL for almost 3 weeks and it went by with a whirl.
The weather was pretty nice, I mean hell look at this photo!  I made Josh pull over so I could take this (mind you, my manly husband had to drive around his mothers bright yellow VW bug!)

We were busy just about every day.  I watched two movie Wall-E and Mama Mia.  I hated Mama Mia, it was such a waste of time!  It was my hard ass father-in-law's idea to watch it.  So out of character for him, he's sexist, racist, and really kind of an asshole (although he's always been nice to me).

This is Josh's very best friend, Milan.  He is such a wonder guy, always positive, outgoing, up for anything, great friend for Josh when he was growing up.  Milan is about 8 years older than Josh and I really think part of the reason Josh turned out so wonderful (compared to his father) was because of this guy.  This was New Years Eve outside his house we were throwing (attempting for me) a football around.  Ugh I had 4 shots of Patron and half a beer! It was fun though .

This was at the beach that was a half hour from his grandparents house in FL.  I can't really call it a beach though, that sand you see was trucked in, just over the little was is just rocks next to a harbor.  This was fun Josh and his brother, Zach, brought a metal detector and found a bunch of trash, I mean 'treasure'.  It was pretty funny.  Notice Zach's huge belt buckle?  Well he's a 'professional cowboy' (their father is too but not nearly as good as Zach).  He actually has cowboy boots on but you can't see them in this photo.

We got in a bunch of golfing (more that I liked, I was really frustrated by the end of the fourth day when I wasn't hitting crap!)  This is me, ever the photographer... better at this then golfing that's for sure!  Josh doesn't like this shot because he says his follow threw was too high.... ohy!
I just loved the 'old mans beard' blowing in the breeze and had to take a shot.

Awe Me, Mo  mma T (Teddie, Josh's wonderful mother) and his sister Amanda.  I just love them!

Me, on the best horse ever, Sarah, she was such a good girl for my Green ass!  She's stained orange from the Georgia red clay.  That stuff is horrible!  Notice the Yellow bug!  That's my father in law walking by.

Josh on Ricochet, his horse was being difficult, he just wanted to run.

View from my camera strapped around my neck/shoulders.

Zach is coming to to NH this weekend for a whole week.  I have no idea what we are going to do to entertain him while we're at work!  Well this is getting pretty long.

  • Well Thanksgiving went well in NY with the family.  It's really my favorite holiday.  I love xmas and all I just don't like having to buy everyone presents and getting stuff in return that I really don't need.  I would rather just get together around a big table to home cooked food and enjoy the company.  Since when does xmas have to be so expensive and materialistic.

I did go shopping with my mother and sister yesterday on black friday.  The mall was Nuts! 10 mins of driving around to find a parking spot with my mothers driving. (I'm not letting her drive anywhere anymore!)  I did get about 90% of the shopping for others out of the way so that was nice.  Two more people on my list, then I have to find clothes for me.  eek. I have a problem spending money on myself but then when it comes time to dress up nice for a fancy work dinner I have nothing to wear... ugh.

Well I really have to get to work on my research paper.  Yuck!

  • Ah so another day off, but another day of painting the window trim.  I'm on the third coat of primer and have probably 2 more of the finishing coat.  Ugh.

I played poker last night, it was an interesting group.  Some I've played several times with before but others were new to me.  It was interesting, I won two bucks!  Josh won twelve... figures.

I'm still working on my squares project.  I decided it had to be bigger.  I figure if it's going to take this long it should be big

Okay that's it, I'm going to tackle the painting.  I have a condo meeting Friday and I really want to have it done (have my kitchen back!)
